baby point road.

This Neo Georgian grande dame  c.1928 is set in a historic Toronto neighborhood heavily forested with majestic oak trees and whose development was inspired by the concept of “The Garden City”.

Our approach to this complete renovation and addition was multifaceted; preserving the original character of the home, adapting it to suit the family’s more modern domestic lifestyle needs; all the while injecting light and air with curated views to the lush outdoor landscape.

The 1 storey addition features 40 feet of glazing with views to the rear yard. Coupled with the green roof located above,  the addition pays homage to the garden city ideology; while at the same time maintaining a commitment to modern sustainability.

Visual restfulness, natural materials, soft neutral tones, and light has transformed this home into an oasis of domesticity.
