Kelowna Cliffhouse

When we left Toronto for Kelowna, we wanted to create a home that blurred the lines between interior and exterior.

Since we both live and work at home (along with our four dogs and two cats) ro design elevated the interior’s design concept so that the mundane rituals of everyday life were made to feel special.

Concrete radiated floors are highly durable, but don’t feel cold under-foot. Simple, natural materials throughout the home bring the outdoors in. Rugged elements like reclaimed barn board on the walls reflect the orchards and farms that surround us and offer a playful juxtaposition with the soft, sleek modern design features and amenities.

ro design’s highly customized and collaborative design approach created a unique solution that is distinctly suited to reflect both our needs – and our new surroundings.
